Member Rebate Program

Program Details

The Member Rebate has established a program with Sherwin Williams to attract new Builders while rewarding the loyalty of their existing customer base. The program has three components.

1. Existing active customers – Active Builder customers are defined as any customer account of Sherwin Williams that had sales in 2017. If your account had sales in 2017, then you are already registered under the Member Rebate Program parent account to qualify for the year-end marketing bonus. Please complete the "2018 SW Painter Tracking Form" and send to us so we can make sure we can correlate with Sherwin Williams that your sales are tracked. The marketing bonus is based on the overall growth of sales in the group and your claim with us in the 4th quarter. If you didn’t have any closings in the 4th quarter, you must have filed a claim in one of the other 2018 quarters in order to receive the marketing bonus on your 4th quarter 2018 rebate check.

2. Non-active customers – Builders that have an account with Sherwin Williams, directly or through your painter, and had no sales in 2016. Your account is already registered under the Member Rebate Program parent account and your renewed activity will be rewarded when you file a quarterly claim.

3. New customers – This program does not affect front-end pricing. If interested in using Sherwin Williams, download the "2018 SW Painter Tracking Form" and send it in to us as well as providing it when opening your account at a SW Store. Once sales are accumulated, you will be rewarded when you file a quarterly claim.

Company History

Sherwin Williams, "America's Paint Company," is the largest producer of paints, varnishes, and specialty coatings in the United States.

The story of Sherwin Williams began in 1866 when Harry Sherwin and Edward Williams started the company. There was no direct rail service from the East Coast to the West Coast, no automobiles, no airplanes, no telephones, no electric lights, and no ready to use paint. They even had to invent the “paint can.”

Today, Sherwin Williams has more than 4,100 stores worldwide. That’s more than any other paint company, which means they are there to service your needs, unlike anyone else. With that market coverage, you can feel confident that as your home building business grows and expands, Sherwin Williams will be there for you.
